including:
Luminarc Arcoroc Ruby Red salad and dinner plates and goblets

A chaise that I really love, a grandfather curio clock, a pretty rocking chair, porch furniture and accessories, living room and bedroom furniture
piles of jewelry

Check out the new photographs I took tonight after we closed (Note: photographs are not my finest work. :z )

Big Little Moving Sale in Cary

Just in time for Christmas!

This is a must-see sale, especially if you fall into any of the following groups:

  1. You haven’t finished your holiday shopping — the gift possibilities here are enormous!

  2. You are furnishing a home, or outfitting a kitchen or bath (loads of furniture, decorative items, pots, pans, and housewares!)

  3. You (or someone you love to buy for) love jewelry — owning it and/or making it. There is a small mountain of costume and fun jewelry available.

  4. You are a ladies shoe size 9 1/2 or 10 and love boots! You are a ladies size small and love dresses and coats! You love purses and handbags!

We are helping the owners of an adorable apartment in downtown Cary. Everything needs to go, and is priced accordingly.

This charming home is packed to the brim! Because this home is small, and only 5-8 people can comfortably move around at a time, I am scheduling appointments so that no one has to wait outside in the cold.

We are now scheduling appointments on the hour and half hour on the following days:
Thursday, December 14: 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Friday, December 15: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Saturday, December 16: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Email me at jennifer@peacestreetsales.com, and let me know which day and what time you would like to come. I will confirm with you by phone later that day (make sure you put your phone number in the email so I can call you back) and give you the address. In the event the time you ask for is full, I’ll get back to you and find another time that works for you.

There are no plans to have a 50% off day — instead, everything is priced to move.

To confirm, I will not be releasing the address except when confirming appointments. Appointments will be honored in the order the emails are received.

Helpful info:
• Due to the size of the home, we are booking appointments for spots Thursday through Saturday. See description for available times. As the week progresses, we will determine whether we will also be open on Sunday.
• Please bring help for moving and loading large pieces of furniture!
• There will be some packing material on hand for breakable objects, but bringing your own if you intend to buy fragile items wouldn’t be a terrible idea.
• We will accept cash & credit cards
• All sales are final, and all items are sold As-is, Where-is. No refunds nor exchanges will be given. Wake County sales tax is included in price.
• We aren’t responsible for on-site accidents.
• There are no pre-sales and prices will not be released till the start of the first day.

Thanks so much — Let me know if you have any questions! Looking forward to seeing you!

Time Capsule Estate Sale in Durham

I’m working on a house in north Durham, sale will be on Friday August 25 (4-8pm) and Saturday the 26th (10am-3pm)!

I loved meeting this family and getting the house ready has been really fun. Collectors of all sorts should make sure they make time for this sale. Their father lived primarily on the coast for the past couple decades, so many items that might have given way to make room for new possessions have remained safely inside. Toys, games, books and dolls from the 70s and 80s, carnival and depression glass, many old bottles, including coca-cola and pepsi bottles and a collector Dickel decanter, tobacco ephemera, and much more. I will continue to add to the list below and upload more photographs as the sale approaches, so please check back, and plan to come see for yourself!
